Dyma enghraifft wych o weithredu yn y modd gorau posib a dylai pawb yn Abertawe gefnogi’r grŵp mewn unrhyw ffordd yr ellir ei wneud - ac mae cefnogaeth dda wedi ei feithrin yn barod - gyda phobl o bob oedran a dosbarth yn mynychu’r Dolphin bob dydd am baned a rwbath i fwyta ac i gynnig pob math o gymorth.
Cynhelir gorymdaith o Westy’r Dolphin I’r Llys am 9 o’r gloch bore dydd Mawrth a gofynnir i bawb sy’n cytuno ag ymgyrch y grŵp i gefnogi’r orymdaith i’r Llys. Felly, dewch yn llu i ddangos eich cefnogaeth. CWTSH COMMUNITY NEWS...Cwtsh Community is the name of the community group that is squatting at the Dolphin Hotel, Abertawe. They have, on several occasions, invited the owner of the hotel to meet with them to discuss the potential of letting the property to the Cwtsh Community if the property is to, otherwise, stay empty. He has refused to meet with the group and has bought out an eviction order. If the group could have legally rented the property or, a similar property in Abertawe, they have numerous plans for providing all sorts of services, training workshops, alternative therapies etc for free for anybody in the Abertawe area. They will be in court at the County Court in Abertawe at 10am on Tuesday morning coming (the 14th) and if the judge goes in favour of the owner - which he most probably will, the eviction will take place shortly after.
This is a wonderful example of a community group coming together and taking over a large 'left vacant' building in a city centre for the use of the community. This is activism in the best possible taste and everybody in the Abertawe area should support this group in any way possible and a great many already do, with locals of all ages and class in society frequenting the Dolphin for free refreshments and to offer all kinds of assistance.
There will be a march with banners and placards to the County Court from the Dolphin Hotel at 9am on Tuesday morning and the group would appreciate it very much if all who agree with their actions would come and march with them to show support. Please do support and prepare and bring as many banners and placards (with appropriate messages of course) as possible. They will be welcomed and appreciated.
In the afternoon, from 2pm onwards, there will be an opportunity for all supporters to gather back at the Dolphin to mingle and there will be plenty of free food and entertainment on hand. Any offers of cooked or prepared donations of food for the tables would be most welcome.
LET’S STAND IN SOLIDARITY IN THIS CAUSE FOR THE PEOPLE OF ABERTAWE!
