I am as much opposed to Open Casts as the 'Windmilling of Wales', of course in the scheme of things 'Climate Campers' are not opposed to the 'Wind Milling of Wales' timely discussion and debate would be on issues of Open Casts, can they ever be justified? Further, I suspect a- Climate Camp here opposing this Open Cast might not be as welcome as at Ffos Y Fran. Myself on basis of Land & Liberty, as the land is in Workers Cooperative Ownership with money shared out between the workers plus much contributed to the community. In the initial instance such in mind plus matter of job provision, I would have to come off the fence sooner as later. Thus if it's alright by the community, I would have to say in this case, an Open Cast is ok! we shall see where one and all stands in due course. I have no doubt that this Tower Colliery Open Cast could become as major an issue as Vyrnwy Land Sell off is not?
