Lets get this straight form the beginning, this is not just about opposition to this Windmill Plantation on or near the site of the 'Battle of Hyddgen. This is as much about 'total' opposition and what must become 'Total Resistance to 'Turbine Terrorism' and the 'Windmills of Mass Destruction' being placed on any part of Mynyddoedd Pumlumon - 'Our Sacred Hills'.

Patriots Make Ready in Spirit, Mind and Body to Cross Bont Glyndwr |
Despite the threat of the 'Windmills of Mass Destruction' facing communities and countryside throughout Wales patriots main concern will have to be the 'Nant y Moch Windmill Plantation ' and the desecration of 'Our Sacred Hills' Mynyddoedd Pumlumom. Below, you will find much information on this monstrous plan to devastate and despoil these mountains for the profit of 'Bangsters' and Corporate Capitalists and their shareholders. Also included below is much information on the Cambrian Society whom to date, have been the main opposition to these plans and we shall, of course, continue to support they. However, we should also support the Embassy Glyndwr - Tarian Glyndwr Campaign for a number of reasons. In the first instance, we regard the Pumlumon Mountain range as being particularly special to Cymru as the 'Cradle of Wales'. The area is steeped in mythology and history and many patriots, via the Cofiwn movement, were instrumental in the setting up of a memorial by the Nant y Moch reservoir in the 1970's to commemmorate the Battle of Hyddgen. This memorial now stands there as a symbolic reminder to us all that Owain Glyndŵr and his small army of 120 men had defended these ancient 'Sacred Hills' against a mightier army of 1,500 and had defeated them. We view it now as the duty of the present day Cymry to protect these 'Our 'Sacred Hills' from this new army of Windmills that is about to invade, will it be another Cymric victory, Will Cymry answer the Glyndŵr call or will the memorial to the battle be demolished and cast aside to make room for a a 'Turbine Highway' at some future date?
We will, of course, liaise and coordinate much with Embassy Glyndwr and the Cambrian Mountain Society - especially in the final struggle of what must be 'Total Resistance' to the coming of the turbines which ever route they shall pass along (see site plans in CMS website).

The above, 'newly placed' sign declares this area between the Northern end and the dam itself as a "Special Scientific Area" requiring permission from the landowner (Statkraft?) to enter under threat of a fine or even having ones car seized? If this is the case, what about the 100's of vechiles that may be passing through carrying workers, equipment and Turbines to the site North of this place? We strongly suspect that this is meant to be a 'threat' to frighten or put off protesters accessing the area for demonstrations. More investigation needs to be carried out in regards to 'who' is behind these threatening new placard warning signs. Who has the right to deny us access to 'Our Sacred Hills' and who may have the audicity to deny us the right to congregate at out Battle of Hyddgen memorial for commemoration?
Although we have been in active support for many years in this struggle, up to now, we have taken a rather 'Behind the Lines' approach but after reviewing much, we have come to a number of conclusions that now shapes our strategy.
First of all, we must declare that we are appreciative of the struggle put up by people in numerous communities throughout the land. These people, 'Y Werin' are the people that have been prepared to put up a fight whereas Plaid Cymru fails to put up a fight to defend Cymru and as we shall soon see, they will not have even made the slightest of attempts to save the Vyrnwy Estate from being sold to capitalists outsiders., they cry 'Cofia Dryweryn' but such has become meaningless and empty words. Whatever, despite the heroic fight of 'Y Werin', the Windmill Masters have them on the back foot and, often as not, beaten and in retreat because they have the money and thus the power to get their way and use such to corrupt culture and children without any opposition from any politicians - and certainly not from Plaid Cymru - whose leading members have been on "the take" from the start of the coming of the 'New Conquistadores'. It's time to change all that by, for starters, not being 'timid taffs' and by accepting that any fight to be a real fight must see passive protests beome a radical struggle with a number of campaigns of 'Gwerin Owain' raiding protest pickets here, there and everywhere 'Hit and Run' but of course I do not mean in a miliant way as of old but in legitimate protest as defined in the Guardian book REBEL. So throw away the Plaid Cymru moderates passive 'Do Nothing' rule book and start making up your own rules as you see fit and as suits your sense of what's permissible and possible for you. Other than this note, Apart from the fact that Embassy Glyndŵr is using 'Tarian Glyndŵr' as a campaigning Platform, we are also supporting two other developments, they being 'Glyndŵr's Ramblers', possibly suiting older Pobl Glyndŵr who can serve the useful purpose of going out and about gathering various useful pieces of information (as on Windmill Plantation Perimeters and route ways etc) whilst the Gwerin Owain will, possibly, be more suitable for a younger generation of Pobl Glyndŵr as they will carry out protest actions (such as placing up placards and posters in and around Windmill Plantations and along routes of turbine transportation) as well as lead the way in picketing protests of docks and entry sites to Windmill Plantations etc.
NB: Both these initiatives will be 'autonomous' and local in association with ongoing and forthcoming Windmill Plantation Work. Avoid potential 'Agent Provocutuers' who might encourage violence and we would advise against the use of e-mails, phones or mobile phones to mobilise action. No need, as all local liaision can be done along the grapevine. Why go to such lengths? well there might just be need to go on to Windmill Plantation and turbine Road sites and such action may require secrecy if such 'agit - prop activities' are to be carried out successfully. Here, I am talking of actions such as those CYIG or anti - Global protesters might carry out not 'sixtes sabotage stuff' lets get that straignt from word go, so present day 'loonies' stay well away or you will be kicked out on your backsides. stick with Y Gwerin Owian and People of the Pitchfork and Pike.

Some Suggestions: I note there are a number of IPC consultations coming to conclusion soon. Such typifies the amount of information out on the web concerning the 'Windmilling of Wales '. Then you have the websites of a number of Anti - Windmill Campaign groups - all excellent stuff but loaded with information, requiring one to spend days reading through all this stuff. What's needed now more than anything else is that a central body is set up. A National Windmills Wales Intelligence Centre to collect all the best and neccssery up to date Information such as the details of Windmill Plantations coming into actual development as well as 'turbine transportation' and from which factories and docks and which routes will be taken. Prior to that, intelligence is needed in regards to which roads are being widened as well as intelligence on other potential targets to picket such as political conferences - starting with the Plaid one in September. We would further suggest this is a matter of great urgency and maybe best put together by existing Windmill Campaigning groups calling a meeting to such end purpose. Such a body could also organise publicity campaigns and raise funds for posters and stickers etc. It could also liaise and coordinate protests, activities and events as the one suggested in my conclusion to this post at end below.
