That Plaid Cymru has been duplicitous on issue of Welsh Independence only a fool would think otherwise, this largelly Cultural 'Language' Nationalist Party has of course also even been duplicitous about it's name. Changing it from Plaid Cymru to PLAID officially but cannot escape from time to time reverting back to Plaid Cymru, at all costs however avoiding calling itself a Welsh Nationalist Party. In it's roots and at heart this Party is first and foremost a Cultural 'Language' Nationalist Rural Party, it's success in our times British General Election wise has been due in rural areas to many conservitive minded traditionalists voting Plaid Cymru to remove labour from the Pura Wallia Cymric Heartlands. Whilst it's success in the South owes a little to radical Nationalist Republicanism in the 'Sixties' amongst a young working class generation, at the same time with the Comprehensive Education system being founded one finds the successful growth of 'Cymreag' education in English Speaking Wales.

Much of this in pre comprehensive education period had alturistic patriotic motives but later the middle classes came to see Welsh Medium Education as a means why which children could avoid the general comprehensive education system plus get a very good education. The good education came with teacher cultural nationalist commitment plus smaller sized class rooms. I do not oppose 'Cymraeg' medium education but actually see the way forward for saving and sustaining 'Cymraeg' largelly by 'Cymraeg' being exclusivelly taught at Nursry School level and bilingually at primary School level, then choice being order of the day there after. However, I am convinced that this will advance a possible bilingual Wales more so than an otherwise Welsh Language Industry and Media as S4C largelly serving interests of saving and sustaining 'Y Crachach Newydd'.

Whatever, the above is about the end of the Welsh Nationalist Independence Dream more and more during the 'More Powers' for WAG Referendum Campaign. It does not take the Western Mail to inform us that WAG having more powers does not lead to the slippery slope of Welsh Independence, if there is a substantial Yes Vote and WAG gets more powers that will be the sure end game for any Welsh Independence struggle for a number of reasons, not least because most Plaid members are Cultural 'Language' Nationalists and will see such an Assembly as means by which all it moderate and cultural desires can be achieved all to easy with no sweating it! So too, the Welsh Chattering Classes, The Political Elite also what goes for a Welsh Establishment Intelligencia and Anglo - Welsh Cultural/Arts Establishment plus any number of genuine and parasitic groups that will set out to feast on the WAG body down in 'Bae Bradwyr Caerdydd' to enrich their self interests.

That's the truth of it but the sad thing is that there are a few genuine political Welsh Nationalists who cannot see this and just bury their heads between their legs. Ignoring the above realities and realities that Plaid anyway along with other Political Parties have sold out Welsh Sovereignty and Independence to the E.U. European Union. There are other realities even genuine Plaid Political Nationalist choose to ignore, not least the prefabrications of Plaid Leadership and in particular English Lords Dafydd Elis Thomas and Dafydd Wiggley. Although the rest of Plaid leadership are cowardly crappers who when asked to put up Independence logos on their Websites, did so but then quickly took them off when the media wanted to question them on this. Forget not the unedifying sight of Plaid's Bethan Jenkins running from the media in Swansea Marina, little wonder about this time major Welsh Independence bloggers have come to an end disillusioned.

There are are a number of Facebook Fusiliers who knee jerk and parade about for Welsh Independence as Balchder Cymru and Cymru 1400 but this lot could not string three words together re what to say about Welsh Independence at best such as these are imature idiots or at worse such or similar could be nought but MI5 'Sting Sites' as they do not appear to do very much than organise events as MI5 Foto Opportunities or as means of collecting names and adresses. To conclude: Not so far back there where Welsh Nationalists who once considered that when ever there was to be another Devolution referendum, there needed to be a question on Independence. Certainly questions 'Yes' or 'No' on such, a Parliament like Scotland or the Status Quo would have been better, much bettrer than what's being offered, lets face it a glorified County Council. Pathetic! What true Welsh Nationalist could ever vote for that? Please do not kid yourself that this is a progmatic step forward, what wait another decade. We have not the time for that as Wales will have become no more the reality of being a WEST BRITAIN, stop being such fools and Abstain or Vote No!
